Michael Huff – Ortho-Bionomy Practitioner
Michael is a student of life. He holds a PhD in Sociology and attended and graduated from the Wellness and Massage Training Institute in the West Chicago Suburbs.
His work is rooted in Ortho-Bionomy. It is work developed by an Osteopath, and as such is very structural, looking at the relationships between bones, muscles, and joints. It is physical work. It is energetic work.
Ortho-Bionomy works with the body’s natural healing reflexes to evoke deep change and healing. It works from the ‘inside out.’ Which makes it easy, painless, and long-lasting. In Michael’s Ortho-Bionomy sessions, the client remains fully clothed.
Michael extensively studied Ortho-Bionomy, Swedish, and Deep Tissue Massage over the past 30 years. He also studied Cranial Sacral Therapy, Reflexology, Polarity Therapy, and Esoteric Healing. He uses an eclectic array of modalities: Ortho-Bionomy, Cranial Sacral Technique, Therapeutic Massage, and Esoteric Healing to find unique ways to address complex problems in bodywork.
Michael has worked extensively in cancer care, providing palliative care and pain management, and with clients with Multiple Sclerosis, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), HIV/AIDS, and Scoliosis. We are so happy to have someone of Michael’s caliber and experience join our staff at Innate Chiropractic!
