A 29 year old athletic male presents with rounded upper back and shoulders and “torn” or pulled calf from running.
Exam reveals a lack of lateral stabilization on 1-leg stance (Trendelenberg), difficulties hip hinging, possibly due to short Hamstrings, difficulty finding and engaging Glutes in a Windowpane squat, bilateral inhibited lumbar erectors and Gluteus Medius (lateral stabilization)
Structural assessment reveals a tucked pelvis, Sacrum and Ilium subluxations.
Adjusted pelvis and instructed patient in proper hinging for correct pelvic position when sitting. Also taught him ways to engage his core and initial instructions to engage and strengthen his posterior chain via #Foundation Exercises.
Will follow up to further assess Calf
