Meet Stefan Cohen, D.C., Director

Stefan Cohen earned his undergraduate degree (B.A.) at Stanford University. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree (D.C.) from Life Chiropractic College West where he graduated with both academic and clinical honors. His post-doctoral training included extremities management, nutrition, the application of state-of-the-art technologies to chiropractic, and many modalities of holistic care. Dr. Cohen is also a board certified Applied Kinesiologist through the International College of Applied Kinesiology.

Dr. Cohen's basic approach to most musculo-skeletal issues follows what he calls the 4 R's:

1. Realign the spine or extremities with Chiropractic adjustments.
2. Release bound up soft tissue structures with ARTŪ (Active Release Technique).
3. Reprogram emotional physiology with NET (Neuro Emotional Technique).

3. Retrain posture to help prevent the recurrence of original symptoms.

Meet Rena Keslar, Ka Huna Body-Work
(

Rena Keslar maintains a separate practice at the Innate Chiropractice Family Wellness Studio.

Rena
Rena Keslar employs Ka Huna body & energy work with other modalities such as Reiki, Polynesian floor work and vocal toning in her practice. Ka Huna body-work, used during Rites of Passage as a transformational massage and healing system, originated in the South Pacific. It is also known as Hawaiian Temple Style massage, Maori Massage, and Lomi Lomi.

This beautiful form of body-work provides a holistic approach to healing by balaning the body-mind in its physical, emotional and spiritual dimensions. Ka Huna body-work is unique in a number of respects. Rena uses her hands, forearms and elbows and moves around the table (using flowing hula and Tai Chi style movements) working with energy while applying soft and deep tissue massage. Music is played as she attunes the flow of the massage to harmonize the various rhythms within the client's body-mind-soul.
